Yesterday, I went on a recon mission around Birmingham. I checked out a bunch of areas that I hadn’t seen before like the mailbox and the canal. It was awesome. The only thing that didn’t help was the lack of sunshine and the unpredictable freak showers of rain. Of course I hadn’t brought a coat. We had the slightest ray of sunshine in the morning and what can I say, I hoped for the best.
We almost didn’t make it to Birmingham in the first place, Jim and I. There were signal issues between Stoke station and Kidsgrove which meant we had to change at Stafford. That’s not so bad, I hadn’t seen Stafford station before. It’s pretty small but it’s attractiveness was boosted greatly on the return leg of the journey by the girl with a kitten. A KITTEN!
Anyway, we had a wander around Selfridges and I got sidetracked by the Paperchase sale section. I’d like to think I’ve done pretty well for myself here.

1. tulip gift wrapping paper £2.10 (previously £3.00)
2. geometric letterset £1.25 (2.50)
3. folding bird bag £2.75 (£4.00)
4. 300 photo album £3.19 (£12.75)
I couldn’t pass up the chance to have a gander in Accessorize either and came out with a pair of insanely cute sticker sheets.

Both sticker sheets were the grand price of £1 a piece. Brilliant. I’m going to be back and forth from Birmingham for a while in July, so we’ll see if I still like it in a few weeks ; ) I’m sure that if I won a huge amount of money right now I would probably spend a large sum of that on stickers.
Laters,
Ari x
